How We Do it?
It's All About Diversity
At YAU, our golf program runs from March through October, with evening sessions typically starting at 6PM. We meet 1–2 times per week at local driving ranges in the communities we serve, giving kids a fun and accessible introduction to the game. Our focus is on building swing fundamentals, stance, aim, and patience—skills that benefit young athletes on and off the course. While most members are required to bring their own golf clubs and purchase range balls at each session, we aim to make the experience relaxed, enjoyable, and growth-focused for every child involved.
What Can Parents Do
Volunteers Are Important
Share the Game, Shape the Future
Parents with golf experience can make a big impact by helping kids learn fundamentals in a fun, relaxed setting.
Be a Golf Mentor
No coaching license needed—just your time, encouragement, and willingness to help guide young athletes on the range.
Help Us Grow the Game
Volunteer alongside our coaches and help create a supportive, skill-building environment for kids learning golf for the first time.
GOLF FUN
Our golf program gives kids a fun, hands-on introduction to the game with weekly evening sessions focused on skill-building and confidence on the course.
Our Coaches
Our YAU golf instructors bring patience, passion, and years of experience to every session. Whether teaching grip and swing basics or guiding players through course etiquette, our coaches are committed to helping each child build confidence and enjoy the game at their own pace.
